Jalen Rose G Ex-Pacers

As if we didn't hear enough about Jalen Rose right now with his whole 'Fab 5' argument with Coach K, we find out that the ESPN analyst is set to appear in court in April after being cited for suspicion of drunken driving at 2am on March 11 in West Bloomfield Township, MI.

Rose declined to take a Breathalyzer test but submitted to a blood test at the hospital. The roads were icy and the officer believes the icy roads had something to do with Rose's car sliding off the road...oh really? Ya think? Ice may have helped a car SLIDE off the road? That's good, because if your pavement was making cars slide, you might have a problem. Sounds like somebody is trying to help a Michigan favorite evade trouble.
Rose had a solid 13-year career as a shooting specialist and excelled defensively until age started catching up with him and his knees couldn't handle both ends of the floor. He was the first Pacers player to lead the team in scoring in 8 years other than Reggie Miller during the 99-00 season. He led his team to the NBA finals that year but unlike his shorts in Michigan, they landed just a bit short against the Lakers.
Rose's attorney says they look forward to fully working with Michigan authorities in resolving the problem...something tells me they aren't really looking forward to it.

Update: Video and the 911 call from Jalen Rose's arrest have been released HERE.
